About Me

To help you feel confident in the messages in this blog, I am sure you'd like to know a little about the author behind it. Maybe author isn't the right word. Perhaps "messenger" is more like it. I will be supplying you with information from a variety of sources, some of which I may not even know.

First and foremost, I am a Christian. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that He was born of a virgin and walked this earth. I believe that He died on the cross for our sins and was raised on the third day. I believe He has gone to prepare a place for those who do the will of His father. I believe I am commanded to live my life according to the truths shown in the Bible.

Beyond that, I have been married to my husband since 2000. We have two beautiful daughters together, and we currently have 2 precious foster children with us as well. I am a high school English teacher, and I love my job. My family attends the Glendale Church of Christ in Newbern, TN. My husband works with the youth group at our congregation, and I am blessed to be a part of that work. Besides being a part of the group devotionals and get-togethers, I have been able to teach teenage girls' classes. I absolutely love working with them.
