Phillipians 4:6 says, "Do not be anxious over anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving let your petitions be made known to God."
Don't let your worries pile up. Take them to God immediately. You don't have to get on your knees and close your eyes to pray. You only have to focus by whatever means it takes for you to give all of your concentration to your prayer. Admit in prayer that you need God's help. Ask Him to guide you on the right path and to keep you safe. Ask Him to lead you in making the right decisions. Focus on God and asking for His wisdom - don't focus on yourself and your wants.
Finally, don't forget to thank God for the blessings He pours out on your daily. Mention specifics. Remember, you should be closer to God than any person on Earth, so there is nothing that is too insignificant to mention in prayer.

Praying is something that makes a lot of us girls feel awkward. Maybe it is because we don't get to pray in church and stuff, but sometimes I think that I don't know how God wants me to pray. Do you think that as long as I am saying what I really feel then He is ok with my prayer?
